AIBO is the monogram from the pinyin of "艾"and"博" which mean"HIV/AIDS" and "MUSEUM". This represents the dream that oneday an HIV/AIDS museum will be established in China, a dream held by many people but started by a Chinese HIV/AIDS activist Chang Kun who has been doing HIV/AIDS works for six years and has promised to devote his life career on HIV/AIDS.
Because of legal and political factors in China, the AIBO Fund is kind of a public Piggy Bank that is transparent, with records posted on websites. Anyone who would like to support ChangKun and his activists will put donation into AIBO Fund.
Now, the main mission of AIBO Fund is keeping running the websites "AIDSWIKI.org" and "AIDSMUSEUM.cn". It's very hard to run the two websites because Chinese government always try to use different excuse to shut them down.
AIDSwiki.org is a Chinese HIV/AIDS website based on Wikipedia technology, it has been shut down three times, the last time was on Nov,2009, strategically just before Dec 1st, 2009, which is World AIDS Day, the theme of which is "Universal Access and Human Rights". AIDSMUSEUM.cn was forced to shut down on May 7,2008. The Congressional-Executive Commission on China in the USA has reported this issue:China Continues to Crack Down on HIV/AIDS Web Sites and Activists [http://www.cecc.gov/pages/virtualAcad/index.phpd?showsingle=106348]

From 2008 to Dec 22,2009, We have raised fund 1266.86 dollar (U.S. Dollar,1 U.S dollar=6.82 RMB, the same below) ,expensed 1528.89 dollar.
So that, we need to raise fund 262.03 dollar to cover deficit in 2009, and we also must raise fund for rebuilding AIDSWIKI websites and other activities.
Our target is to raise fund 1466.28 dollars totally for rebuilding AIDSWIKI
We appreciate that many friends and persons have been giving us strong supports! We strongly believe that the reason we can keep working continually and passionately because you always support and help us righteously and generously!
