【AIDS RIGHTS】 The fight to end the US HIV Travel Ban is heating up

The fight to end the US HIV Travel Ban is heating up - help PHR end this human rights violation today. Many of you joined with us in earlier phases of this campaign and we need your help again to show strong public support to end the HIV travel ban.. The Federal Government has taken a big step towards lifting the nation's draconian restrictions denying people living with HIV entry into the United States. On July 2nd, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) released a proposed rule removing HIV from the list of diseases that prevent entry to the US. We're in the middle of a 45-day public comment period (July 2nd-August 17th) during which we can make our voices heard to the CDC and Department of Health and Human Services. During this critical campaign window, PHR is mobilizing public comments in support of the CDC rule change. With your support, the US will finally have HIV entry policies rooted in sound public health practices and human rights.
